Is it possible to actually be too full to move?

You know how you always joke about that when you eat too much, but can one actually physically not be able to get up after eating way too much? I guess that also leads into other questions: like how much can a human being eat anyway? Is it possible for your stomach to “burst” in any way from overeating?
