Films based on true stories: Which do you think are full of holes/inconsistencies?

I watched Badlands last night, not the first time i’ve seen it by any means, but this viewing was different.
I’d recently watched a documentary on which the movie was based & well, lets just say the film portrayed the characters in a way that was far removed from the savage reality.
How about you then, any examples you can give?
