What is your favorite photo-sharing site, and why?

I’m looking for sites for sharing photos with friends, clients, colleagues, etc. Would like web sites where you could leave the photos up there indefinitely. All else being equal, would prefer sites that are free. Also all else being equal, would prefer sites that won’t crop or compress the photos. If I have to pay for this latter requirement, well, so be it.
