Will this internship help me out for future jobs?

As most of you know I’ve still been looking for a job the past 6 months since I’ve graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. I haven’t had any luck with applying and most times when I do get an interview I get turned down because I lack experience.
I’ve applied for unpaid internships which is difficult because there are hardly any in the fields I’m looking for and even when I apply I hear no response or they have gone with someone else.

I finally got a call from a locally owned spa company (not very big) that offers a paid part time internship for business administration. I will be doing administrative assistance work as well as reporting to the manager and receiving managerial experience. My interview is next week and they said they’d also like to discuss my career goals to help me.

I was just wondering would taking this internship help me out at bigger companies or future jobs? I mean it is experience right even though it is a small company and a SALON not a corporate place? I am interested in HR/Admin/Coordinating type work.
