How can I assign key combinations to bookmarks in Firefox?

Okay, so I’m on my one-week trial of Firefox 3 to see if I’d rather use it than Safari on my Mac. I’m doing my best to adjust, but one thing I can’t figure out is this: In Safari, command-1, command-2, etc. are assigned to the first, second, and so on bookmarks in your bookmark bar. I use these combinations constantly — is there a way I can assign these combinations to different bookmarks?
