I'm looking for a book I read probably forty years ago, written by a pastor.

I don’t remember his name, but the title of the book was something like “Tales from North Hampton” or something like that. It seems the setting for the short stories, based on true events, was The Second Presbyterian Church of North Hampton. If anyone has any clues that would help me find this book, I’d be very grateful.
