How are people feeling about the new judges announced for American Idol?

I thought that they said they were trying to revive American Idol since the ratings were dropping. How is having 2 former judges and a man who was on prior as a mentor going to help…And really who is excited about Harry Connick Jr.? lol…And also what was the point of Randy leaving as a judge to just come back as a mentor..BORING!!!
