What is a fair price for this used vehicle?

Asked by CuriousLoner (1812points) September 8th, 2013

I will try and give all information you need. If need more please let me know. This from a dealer, wants $4,750. Right now after I went test drove it did basic checks around it we worked down to $4,200. I asked last time had a tune up, and that have been parts changed. Struts/shocks had been replaced. However beyond that he didn’t seem to know if more work had been done to it or not.

Title is clean. It also had auto start which is a nice added value. The radio is not working, looks like from fluids and color of them it needs a basic tune up. Fairly good clean under hood and inside for the year.

Also buying as is no warranty if this makes a difference in price or not?

What other things should I look for and ask? Anything specific?
Is it worth getting a car fax?

KBB says for this condition it is about the right price, however he gets his price from NADA an for this month compared to last it went down about $500 dollars, but is still more
