The key quote in this piece is from Cindy Vinson.
“Of course, I want people to have health care,” Vinson said. “I just didn’t realize I would be the one who was going to pay for it personally.”
I would rather not have the question be all about Obama care. My objections to it aside, I don’t think there is anything wrong with insisting that people buy a medical plan, rather than soaking the system for free.
My question is, what makes people imagine that what they want and need should be paid for by somebody else? Why did Cindy think that?
