Is it possible to still get an A in a class if you have a C mid-semester in high school?

I have a couple C’s and I want to get A’s in these classes. Is it still possible to get that if it is already mid-semester? Also, how difficult is it to raise a gpa of a 3.38 to a 3.5 in two semesters?
