Shall we morn the passing of Marcia Wallace? Carol, the receptionist on "The Bob Newhart Show" and vocal star of "The Simpsons"?

She would have turned 71, Nov. 1st.

I remember her from “The Merv Griffith Show” before Newhart. She was active up to an appearance on “The Young and the Restless” in 2009.

Larger than life and always likable, she will be missed.
