Would this make it difficult for you to sleep soundly?

I feel like a bit of a princess lately (no pun intended). I have been having a very difficult time falling asleep at night and I’m wondering if I’m just focusing too hard on this one little annoyance or if it would bother anyone else equally as much. I feel like I’m being ridiculous by complaining about something that seems insignificant but I’m sleep deprived and desperate.

I live above a collision shop. The owners leave their shop radio on 24/7 for whatever reason. Maybe they forget to turn it off when they leave. Our bedrooms must be right above where that radio is because it is much louder in that part of our house. Not noticeable during the daytime but when it comes time for bed, it’s all I can focus on. You know that deep, vibrating sound you can hear when a radio talk show plays in a far away part of your house? You can’t hear the actual words or the music but you hear the bass and vibrations. That’s what it’s like all night long. And for some reason my brain can’t stop focusing on it! I have taken a sleeping pill almost every single night. My s/o isn’t bothered by this. He falls asleep within minutes of gettin into bed. Me? I’m up for at least an hour, listening to the noise, getting all worked up about it, tossing and turning.

Any suggestions as to how I can avoid taking sleeping pills every night? I do turn my humidifier on to drown out the sound a little but it still overpowers it. Would this bother any of you jellies or are you able to ignore small annoyances like this?
