When is the last time you sent someone a personal letter or card through the postal service?

I see today there’s an NPR article that says the postal service says that the average American send a personal letter through the mail only about once every two months.
I send note cards to people, to say get well or to some few people who I don’t email, about one or two every two months, so I guess I am an average user.
