I think scars are part of your life story. Do you have any gnarly scars, scars that have sentimental value, scars you love or scars you hate?
I have a sentimental scar on my ankle from my first time shaving. I have a motorcycle muffler burn from crashing a 250cc in Sweden at 13. I remember being so upset it would show in my wedding dress, but it’s sufficiently faded.
And I have 6 scars, two pretty good sized, from having my knee put back together after a serious ski accident. Those scars remind me just how much I can take. That was a long road back. Part of my shin is still numb, and the scars turn purple or white in the sun. I’m actually proud of those scars.
So tell me, how have you mutilated yourself?
