Can anyone define this scary illness I had?

This is Wednesday. On Sunday night, I believe, I began feeling slightly anxious. And cold. I got in bed and the shaking began. My teeth were chattering, my head and hands were shaking and I was just shaking all over. Only a grand mal seizure could have looked worse. In half an hour it rapidly subsided. I took off some of the quilts and turned on the tv. In an hour I went to sleep then had a fitful night of fever. I wish I had had a thermometer. Next day I was up and not tired but had a nice day and Monday night I slept really well . Has one single other person ever had this illness ? If I had to guess I’d say it was caused by a bad tooth I’m having looked at next week.
