Is this not hypocritical of Congress? Details within.

I heard this morning that Congress is questioning the leadership ability of the NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. To quote one article on the subject:
”(Sen. Richard) Blumenthal said in a statement Wednesday night. The current leadership of the NFL cannot be trusted to fairly, genuinely implement policies…..”
They also talk of a “burgeoning, insurmountable credibility gap”.

Seriously, how can anyone in Congress, particularly this Congress, question the ability of anyone to lead anything, let alone talk of a credibility gap of anyone else, without addressing their own incompetence and single digit approval rating?
