How do I make curls stay through the day without hairspray?

I ran out of hairspray and I want to make my curls stay in place. Anyone have tips about how to make curls stay in place without hairspray? And do NOT say go buy hairspray. I have all these hair products I need to use and I’m not buying more. So how?
