Different Types of Addiction Treatments?

Hi all, a friend of mine has an alcohol addiction. She has just recently admitted that she has a problem and has asked for my help finding some different resources regarding treatment and therapy, but I am not that knowledgeable on the topic. I understand that each person’s journey will be different, especially concerning what works or doesn’t, which varies between each individual. Of course I have heard about AlAnon, but I would like to give my friend all of the options that I can.

What are some alternative types of addiction treatments, how are they different from AA, and what are some pros/cons of that treatment?
