Do you shop on Black Friday and what precautions do you take?

Do you shop on Thanksgiving or Black Friday and how to you protect yourself? I would never give up my Thanksgiving to go shopping. I also avoid Black Friday since I worked in retail years ago and it was a very unpleasant experience. Now people have to worry about physical attacks, such as the one at Walmart a couple of years ago, and having their financial information stolen. Somehow I just don’t think the risks and sacrificed time on a long weekend are worth it – what do you think?
