When you make a mistake do you analyze it and learn from it, or do you quickly reverse the mistake and vow to never do it again?

About 80% of what I know about computers was learned either accidentally, or because I made a mistake. I analyze my mistakes and mark them for future needs.

What prompted this was that a moment ago I moved my cursor to the far right bottom of the screen, and lo! There was an option to view my desk top. I didn’t even know it was there. There used to be a paint brush icon, or something, that would take you to your desktop, but that seemed to have disappeared years ago. I’m glad I found it.

When we got our first computer in the mid-80’s, I had my two year old on my lap while I was working. The kid started banging on random keys and stuff started happening and lo! I discovered hot keys!
