Have you ever read something that was completely wrong?

I’m sitting here, sick in bed, looking at stuff on my computer. I have a few tabs open and I just glanced at one of them and I swear it said, “fat jokes make me sick.” Then I thought to myself, why would I even have something like that on one of my tabs? So I looked at it again and it reads: trader joes fake meat. Lol.

Why do you think I thought it said that particular phrase, as opposed to just not being able to read it, because the lettering is so small?

I was looking at Trader Joe’s products, earlier, to show to a friend, because they just put one in near her house and she’s never been there before. Neither one of us is fat. In fact, I’ve lost 15 lbs : )

It just seemed really weird, like some subliminal message popped up in my brain. Any of you ever had something like this happen, where you read something incorrectly, but it translated into something very specific and very different?

Maybe it’s just the cough medicine talking.
