Have you had a headache last several days?

I’m having shooting pains in the back of my head. It’s been happening, on and off, for four days now.

After some basic googling, it sounds probably not serious and like it will go away on its own. It could be a type of migraine called an “icepick headache.” The pain isn’t interfering with my daily life, it’s just strange that it’s lasted this long. This kind of thing has never happened to me before. It disappears for a few hours if I take tylenol and drink plenty of water, but it always comes back.

How concerning is this? Is it “oh dear god, get thee to a doctor!” possible brain aneurysm level of concern? Or annoying but harmless, like a paper cut? I’ve also been drinking coffee since I was 14 and not getting enough sleep during my work week. But after years and years of that, why now?
