What activities traditionally considered social occasions (like dining and cinema) do you feel comfortable doing alone?

I love dining alone if there are ethnic or unusual options available. My S/O and most of my friends just aren’t open minded enough about food, and tend toward chain restaurants. It just drags things down when you have a great ‘Ethnic Adventure’ and someone orders off the kids menu so they can get chicken strips.

I used to see a movie alone now and then, but I’ve fallen so far behind the current trends, I wouldn’t know where to start today. I’ve considered it, and am considering it.

Any other ‘social activity’ you enjoy by yourself?

I’ve had a good time at the zoo, too.
