Seems like in the 1970’s in the US politicians spent huge amounts of cash to provide supporters with an array of pin-back buttons.
Catch phrases, societal issues and kids were all targets of other pin-backs.
They seem cheap, fun and easy ways to ‘show your colors’, yet currently out of favor.
