Fluff time; Coke or Pepsi, and was your choice influenced by anyone?

When I was a young boy I remember I liked Pepsi better than Coke. Coke had too much of a ”bite”, and was not as sweet tasting as Pepsi. My mother’s favorite drink was also Pepsi so that is what she bought us. When I got older and started buying pop for myself, media and ads pressed me to give Coke another look. The ”more cola” taste of Coke moved me from Pepsi to Coke and I never looked back. Which is your preference, and how did you come to it? That is simple and fluffy enough.
