How do I cook chicken thighs ? (details inside )

I cooked five large chicken thighs in the electric frying pan for 30 min. Then I put in oven for 20 minutes. I don’t know what I’m doing. I don’t have a meat thermometer. The oven is at 350 f. I put some pepper and salt on them. I’m using a roasting pan with the lid off.
