What is your opinion on this UK politician who thinks HIV positive immigrants should be banned from the UK?

Back in 2014, Nigel Farge (leader of UKIP) called for people who have tested positive for HIV to be banned from migrating to Britain as a “good start” in controlling the UK’s borders.
When asked what sort of people should be allowed to migrate to Britain, he said:
“People who do not have HIV, to be frank. That’s a good start. And people with a skill.”
What are your thoughts on Farge’s comments?
