What's a good hard drive for a MacBook?

I’m looking to replace my MacBook (Core Duo, not Core 2 Duo—if that makes a difference) hard drive with something larger. Any recommendations? Any things I should know so I don’t buy the wrong thing or something that’s incompatible? I’m aiming for under $100, but if it’s a little over, I’ll certainly consider it.
Anything I should know about the replacement process so I don’t screw anything up?
