Do you think the wine really froze?

I don’t drink much wine, but when I do I like it super cold. I noticed my sister kept hers in the freezer and thought that was a great idea.

Well, we went to a friend’s for her husband’s birthday part 2 weeks ago. Her husband is my husband’s best friend. (her…not so much!)
I brought some wine (box wine) and stuck it in her deep freeze.

We went over there again for dinner last night.

When we got there she said I had left the wine and it froze so she had pulled it out and it was thawed.
I said, “I wouldn’t think wine would freeze.”
She said, “It did. Like a brick.”
I said, “Oh. Ok. I like my wine cold so I’m going to stick it in your fridge.”
She said, “No, wine must be drunk at room temperature,” and by these means let me know I could not put the wine in her fridge. (Yeah, I’ve written about this woman before!)
