How is the Rio Olympics helping the dirt poor people of Brazil?

All that money spent on new, impressive Olympic venues for competition bring in all that foreign money, but how is that helping the dirt poor people in the slums who cannot even afford to buy a program at the Games? What are they going to do with those venues after two weeks when the ”Big Show” folds its tent and blows to another shore four years from now?
