Was South Africa and the UK right to ban Paster Steven Anderson?

For those who don’t know Anderson is an anti gay and misogynist Christian fanatic. He has the view point that women should not have employment but rather be housewives and nothing more. He also praised the the Orlando shooting and has called for the death of all homosexuals.

Well South Africa and the UK have banned him from entering their nations. What are your thoughts on this. Many of Anderson’s followers see it as a restriction of freedom of speech. Others see it as a just consequence to dealing with a crazed bigot and hate speech.
