Do you have a hard time relaxing, and getting nothing productive done, even if you have every reason in the world to do so?

I had some minor surgery yesterday. 5 stitches in my back. I’m not incapacitated, although I begged out of babysitting duty two weeks ago (toddlers…too much running, stretching, reaching and stuff.) It hurts a little and it would be best for me to abstain from doing much work, especially if it involves bending, reaching and stretching.

But dang, I have a hard time walking by some thing that needs to be done and not doing it! I finally swept the kitchen and bathroom floors, but did it slowly, using small strokes. I swept it into a corner rather than using the dust pan. I’ll catch it later with a vacuum cleaner.
And cleaned the bathroom counter tops.
And put the few dishes that in the sink into the top rack of the dishwasher, and wiped down the kitchen counter tops.

Why can’t I just chill for one day and do nothing??
