What are your thoughts on people becoming disabled by choice?

I read this article (http://news.nationalpost.com/news/canada/becoming-disabled-by-choice-not-chance-transabled-people-feel-like-impostors-in-their-fully-working-bodies) and It’s about a man who calls himself “one hand Jason” who cut his own arm off to be disabled. It also talks about “Transabled” people who feel like “imposters” in an abled body, so they make themselves disabled. What are your thoughts on this?
