Is the United States of America content to follow rather than lead?

Dear United States of America, Your current government is making you irrelevant to the rest of the world. If this was all ya’lls intention, well, mission accomplished. You can’t be both the most important and World Leader and the most insular. It doesn’t work that way. If you don’t lead, you follow. Who will the US follow? From whom will the US take the lead?
