Trying and failing to build a wireless LED?

I am attempting to build a Wireless Electricity Transmission Circuit as seen in the following guides:

But I can’t seem to get it to work.
Have used the following in numerous configurations:

Magnet Wire (24GA)
Bare Copper Wire (24AWG, 0.02” diameter)
Resistor 27K ohms
NPN Transistor BC547
Transistor 2N2222A
LED

What am I missing and what other variables should I be aware of?
How can I get this to work?
