Do you or someone you are close to have PTSD?

I have PTSD (Post traumatic stress disorder). It is a result of an abusive childhood. I have had symptoms for nearly 30 years.
It is an official diagnosis and I have been treated with meds and therapy for about 25 years.
I think what helped me most has been therapy and some of my meds. But even now I still have some severe symptoms
