NSFW: Do you think my art professor is too sensitive for criticizing me for drawing a male nude model with an erection?

I’m taking an art class in college and yesterday we had a male nude model to draw from and since he hasn’t been a male nude model for very long, he had an erection for the first few minutes. I decided to draw what I saw from those first few minutes because I wanted something more striking and sensual. My art professor criticized me (although in a very subtle way) for turning my art into something pornographic. I wasn’t particularly shocked since he has made some conservative comments in the past about pornography and over sexualization in the media. Your thoughts on this?
