Best and easy way to transfer large files (under 1Gb) over the internet to another computer?

I need to transfer a file (about 53Mb) to another person. I don’t want to burn it to a CD because they live too far away to actually deliver it to them. Is there an easy way to transfer larger files over the internet somehow? Preferably so that neither people have to download a program (such as a Bit Torrent client). Thank you in advance :)
