Lawn guy broke off a sprinkler head. What should I do?

Last time he was here he was edging and a sprinkler head, one of those big pop up ones, was broken off (jagged edge) . What should I do or say? He’s nice and works very hard. I met his wife and I like her also but if I turn on the sprinkler system the water just shoots straight up into the air ! I’m also concerned he will do this again. Woe is me.
