Would this be a stupid prank?

A friend of mine works at Chili’s, and a coworker of hers is has been looking to commission a portrait of herself to give to her grandmother for quite some time. Which got me thinking that I could do a funny prank. My friend could give me a picture of her coworker, and I would draw 5 separate versions of the drawing in different stages. I would go to Chili’s in the middle of the day and get her as a server, and over the course of an hour she would realize that I drew an portrait of her. But I would switch out the drawings of different stages whenever she comes by the table. And I would end up giving her the portrait for free. Also friend of mine (that doesn’t know the waitress) would be filming sporadically, especially her reaction.

Does this sound funny to you? Or creepy? Both?
