What is the best way to defrost bread?

I just made some zucchini bread and froze half of it (which was recommended for storage by the cookbook I used). I will need to defrost it at some point, but I’m not sure what the best way to do that is? Let it thaw in the refrigerator? Sit on the kitchen counter? Warm up in the oven?
