What is the longest you could wear underwear, before you felt uncomfortable?

I have been in the worst places on Earth. Places where it smells like people never bathe. Places where people shit on the street.
I have been shot at, and been shot. I have been where it is so hot, you get dehydrated in about an hour. I have been in places where I could not bathe for a week.
Etc. Etc.
But, I still cannot stand to wear underwear for MAXIMUM 36 hours before I just fucking hate it. And that is the absolute limit, and there has to be a really good reason.
