Do you think that the USA healthcare system is MUCH expensive? If so, why? (my opinion follows)

And since we are on topic, what’s the best organized healthcare in the world, as far as you know? Because it’s not the American’s.

PRO:
– -Patient uninsured – pays the hospital and the doctors
– -Patient insured – paid by insurance and Medicare.

CON:

- 28% of Medicare costs involve the last 6 months of life. (I don’t know if the percentage is official or not)
– Much paperwork
– Americans pay much more for pharmaceuticals than anyone else in the world.
– Fraud of $100 billion a year. (Medicare)
– Unnecessary scans and tests done by: 1) families 2) doctors who want to avoid a lawsuit (guys, especially the latter is serious, the doctors spend $600+ billion a year to avoid litigation! I mean, are we damn kidding ourselves? And you know what the best part is? They can afford it, I mean, WE pay doctors a lot more than in other countries!)
