What are some good mixed drinks?

Does anybody know of any good mixed drinks (alcoholic)? I don’t drink often, but once in a while, I go out with my boyfriend and our friends, and I never know what to order. I always get the same things or whatever they’re getting and I’d like to try different drinks out. I’m not really particular about what I drink (although I don’t much care for beer). I like sweet drinks, but have also had a few that were much too sweet. I don’t really mind if you can taste the alcohol either (that way I know it’s actually there!).

Any suggestions?
