Songs losing beauty?

i find that there will be a certain song that i will find and listen to and it will be the most beautiful thing i have ever heard, so i will listen to it over and over and over. until one day it just doesnt give me the sad warm happy feeling anymore, it becomes just another catchy tune. WHY IS THIS? why cant songs keep their impact of beauty on me forever? is it just my perception of their beauty that is lost? is there something wrong with me that i am unable to get the happy sad warm feeling from music all the time?
