What is a creative way to subdue an attacker?

I’m writing a novel about a detective. She’s mostly a vigilante. She needs information from another character. I want her to use a hip, unique, super-cool way to incapacitate him and still get the information she needs. Her method can be borderline far-fetched.

Any suggestions?
