What action would you take if a dog came onto your property and bit you?

You live in town so no you couldn’t just shoot it.
A dog we have never seen before chased Mrs Squeeky into our house.
It really put a scare into her ,I ran and got my pellet gun ,and by the time I got out front the dog was gone and we haven’t seen it since.
I told Mrs Squeeky if someones dog bit one of us on our property they better have a lot of insurance.
What action would you take?
