Why would someone tell you how good they were in bed on a weekend getaway with their boyfriend?

Years ago, I asked a friend how her trip was with her new-ish boyfriend.
She responded by telling me how good SHE was in bed. LOL
Usually, if sex is mentioned in any conversation I’ve ever had, it’s a critique on their partner or something very funny not their own stunning performance.
Have you ever had to listen to anything like that?
