He called the pandemic a “hoax” in February, many times, knowing it was deadly. He is now claiming to wanting to downplay it so it wouldn’t cause mass hysteria. Calling it a “hoax” and downplaying are two vastly different things.
Should he be held accountable for deceiving the public and possibly having caused many more deaths than might have been if he had been honest?
