Have you ever had to testify in court?

As asked.

I thought of this after watching the Derek Chauvin trial (Minnesota vs. Chauvin) this past week.

I’ve testified twice, both times for work. Once was doing Child Protective work, and once was for the labor organization that I work for that had a Department that wanted to leave the organization. I also had a Deposition Before Trial (DBT) for a personal issue which didn’t go to trial, but those don’t occur in court. Those are sworn depositions with attorneys and a stenographer in a conference room. That wasn’t grueling but the questions were more detailed than either of the two court cases.
